Toy garage

Hi there, a new project just finished is a toy garage that Shirl requested for the childrens centre.

To start with this is what it should look like

Next I cut all the MDF to size

Once that was done put it together dry to check it goes together correctly. I did make a mistake on the lift, I missed the part where the lever to the side that operates it up and down was meant to be put on the inside of the lift going through a hole on the side but I missed that and attached it to the top instead. Of course when I put it together the lift floor was not level with the landing, so a lot of head scratching took place before I went back to the drawing board and found my error.

Once it was checked then it was time to paint all the components, here are some photos of the lines being painted

Now put it together again to check its all painted correctly

Now just the last finishing details to be done and that's it

It's just occurred to me that there maybe some stickers that I have to add too...if there are I will update this post to show the finished garage
