Hi!
Iam in Texas now, but I live in Berkshire. On the next summer I plan to decorate my garden with a nice pond.
I want to decide upon a motor for the pump. At least, I can buy here and then bring it home.

Please help..  :confused

Hi!
Thanks very much for your help. I’m not sure about the fish yet. But I want to do a small waterfall. What type of pump motor do I need? I’m looking something like this one, but maybe cheaper https://www.mrosupply.com/motors/ac-motors/general-purpose-motors/jet-pump-motors/2526554_14064400_leeson/

I want to make 3 depth.: 12-18”, 18-24”, 24”
thanks

Hi flowerreg,

To be honest I wouldn't buy in the US to bring back here in case it's need to be returned due to failure or similar. You would probably be better off buy in UK and then you can return it easier should the need arise.

Have a look at these http://www.hozelock.com/aquatics/pumps/fountain-and-waterfall-pumps.html

Although you don't say how big the pond will be, in area, I found a pump available from Amazon here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hozelock-1500LPH-Cascade-Waterfall-Fountain/dp/B000G04M58 which will give you some indication of cost.

You will also see other pumps available from different manufacturers too.

I hope that helps a little
